I missed my regulary scheduled appointment because of bad weather a few weeks back, so I rescheduled for last Wednesday. That appointment was cancelled, due to the fact that my doctor was in the hospital! They said he had a virus. They’ll get in touch with me to reschedule my appointment. I’m hoping it’s soon. I missed getting my lab reports from a few weeks ago. I suppose I can call and ask them to fax the report to me.

I’m on my second day of dex and am not feeling that well from it. I have a headache and am crabby and tired! Look out everyone!

I’m thinking of asking the doc if I can add Biaxin to my treatment, to see if it’ll help get my numbers in the normal range.

I had my monthly appointment with Dr. Orlowski at UNC yesterday. I expect to hear that my IgA is down again, based on the fact that my total protein is down again (6.5 g/dL). Albumin is also down. I’ll post the whole report once I have all the numbers back.

I had my monthly appointment at UNC with Dr. Orlowski today. I always like seeing him. He’s a terrific doctor. Starting in September, I’ll change the way I do my dex pulses. I’ll take 40 mg of dex 4 days in a row instead of taking it once a week. This will give me more recovery time and hopefully more days of feeling better. I’m not looking forward to the 4 days of dex and a few days after (which is the crash), but I’m anxiously awaiting 3 weeks of dex free life each month.

I don’t have the results of my blood tests yet, but will post the info when I get it.
