Flying back for a business trip in Florida last week my connecting flight was in Charlotte, NC. There was an audible gasp in the plane when we dropped below the clouds and all could see snow on the ground! Now, for us here in Wisconsin and Illinois this is no big deal (I almost started out my comment by calling you a “wimp” but I don’t know you well enough!) but I understand that for those of you with thinner blood, a measurable snow fall is a big deal. I would like to live in a warmer climate and we have been considering that but such a major move takes so much time, money and energy. So for now, here we freeze (apparently, just like you!) Thanks for your site! Keep up the good work- Pat

Noooo. I don’t like inclement weather. I went from the garage to my car and drove to work. It was nice having the road all to myself. Where I grew up we often had lots of snow. To get to work on bad days I just floored it when a big drift was ahead so I’d get through. It also helped to have one of those big, heavy cars from the 1970s.
