I’m staying on this for a while longer. It’s not clear if it’s helping, because My IgA isn’t going down. It’s slowly going up, I think. I don’t have yesterday’s results yet. I don’t know if it would be better to do nothing at all, since this drug has had a negative impact on my cholesterol and triglycerides. I have to have an ultrasound of my pancreas next week because one of the enzymes was up. My triglycerides had gotten to a dangerously high level. I started to take the meds for it on Friday night, and my tg had gone from 1300 to 199 in just 3 days. Much better. What I want to do is get on the rev/dex trial at Wake Forest. This would be the only way to get the drug before it’s approved. We don’t know how long that will be, and I don’t want to do anything more aggressive just yet.
I am a pharmacy student and I am studying for my thesis about chimeric monoclonal antibodies in cancer treatment. I just found your blog by chance and this made me cry and be aware of reality. Kathleen Rosemarie Vittoria, 54, of 6516 Bridgemont Lane passed away on Monday. A native of Passaic County, NJ, she is the daughter of Emily Patoray and the late Joseph Patoray. Memorial services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Stephen Vittoria; daughter, Jessica Vittoria; sons, Jason Vittoria, and D. J. Vittoria; brother, Joseph E. Patoray, Jr. and wife, Kathy; sister, Kimberly Evans and husband, John; nieces, Jennifer and Emily; nephews, John and Evan. Dear Beth: My name is Kathleen Vittoria and I have multiple myeloma. I am currently going to start the cnto328 trial at UNC-Chapel Hill. I have had a stem cell transplant in 2006 but came out of remission in Oct. of 2007. We have tried several other medications but nothing has worked. So we are going to try the cnto328.
