Neuropathy

All I want to do is just say that I hate having numb feet!

Neuropathy

I have what would probably be described as mild peripheral neuropathy (PN) in my hands and feet. I don’t want it to get any worse, and I hope what I have is reversible. My toes feel like they’re on fire! My hands have an extreme sensitivity to any contact with anything. For example, typing this generates an uncomfortable sensation. It’s hard to describe.

All along, I’ve never taken anything but 50 mg of Thalomid daily. I started in April, 2003. I can’t imagine what it would feel like if I had allowed my dose to go up to 200 mg. My doctor said that the rate of progression of PN is slow, but I don’t want to take my chances. I’ll see him on November 19th, and will see what we can do. If you have any recommendations, please let me know.
